Lunchtime Doodles

Oh what a lovely (wet) July.

Inspired by everyday things: left over sticker strips; polka dots; Gary(the killer) Cat; Rain; Love hearts; My parent's new chickens (Bluebells* don't you know!); O&E* musicmaking; a Radish that looked like a little mouse and a Doggy who wears a diff scarf everyday(I hereby copyright these ideas!).

Oh yes and scribbles and DIVA* words!

* My darling (and very very amazing)Sister is a Bluebell dancer in Paris.

*O&E= My husband and I perform songs, Piano (Him) & Voice (me)- book us for your do!

* I am the local JAZZ DIVA- well one of them!

Another Kick In The...

Bad news at (day job)work = Doodle.

Maybe my doodles will make me enough £ one day so I'm in charge.

Shadow Doodle Into Dream

Whilst typing away in work I noticed my hair, hands etc. casting shadows on a sheet of paper on my desk- so I began to doodle at lunch and this is the result. Didn't really finish it but sometimes it's good to just stop!

Can you tell I was not having the best of days?!

Not sure if my feet had swollen in the heat or I got my perspective a bit wrong!

Desktop Daydreams

Started drawing the vase of flowers on my desk, and then a dead spider I spotted tucked behind my monitor, and then a doodle portrait of how I feel answering the phone, and then a daydream of my feet in the sea as I walk home. As for the blobby red things; I think I was fantasising about little jam filled macaroons! Mmmm.

All this whilst taking messages when the phone rings to interupt mine and everyone elses work(which is pretty often!). At least I get to doodle though!

I may develope this into a painting/print- at home; I doubt work would approve if I set up at reception!
